Immigrating to Manitoba

Recognition of the importance of immigration and multiculturalism to the continued growth and development of the province, as well as the many benefits of immigrating to Manitoba, increase its attractiveness as a destination for newcomers.

As one of the most ethnically diverse provinces in Canada, Manitoba is a unique and vibrant blend of many heritages, and an ideal destination for new immigrants. More than 270,000 Manitobans have a language other than English as their mother tongue. The province’s multicultural fabric is continually enriched as newcomers bring their cultures, customs, and traditions. Strong communities are built and mutual respect is created through celebrations of the various cultures living and working together in Manitoba.
