Each year, hundreds of students from Grades 5 to 12 engage with science in French, strengthening their learning and sparking interest in scientific careers.

A graduate of the French immersion program in Lorette, Meghan understands the challenges students face when learning in French and uses her own journey to inspire them. Her work not only enhances students’ scientific skills but also highlights the importance of bilingualism in fields where French-language expertise is essential.

Through her leadership and passion for science education, Meghan plays a key role in expanding access to science in French and creating more opportunities for Francophone and Francophile youth in Manitoba.

In recognition of her commitment, Meghan Kynoch received the Margaret-Teresa-McDonell Award at a ceremony on March 24, 2025.
