This study, conducted among Francophone families in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, aimed to understand the effects of the COVID‑19 pandemic on French-speaking communities living in minority-language settings. The researchers noted that access to services and information in French was already limited before the pandemic, which further intensified the challenges experienced during the crisis.
