Santé en français is proud to launch a new series of 10 videos highlighting the importance of both actively offering and requesting French-language health and social services.
Through everyday situations presented in an accessible and humorous way, the videos demonstrate how to make French-language services more visible, how to express one’s language preference, and how to foster better communication between service users and providers.
The campaign highlights the benefits of receiving services in French, as well as the complementary roles of active offer and requesting services in improving access to health and social services. It also emphasizes that simple actions can help create a more welcoming environment for Francophones. In addition to showcasing practical resources, such as interpretation services and the “Guide de navigation du réseau de la santé et des services sociaux du Manitoba” (Manitoba Healthcare and Social Services System Navigation Guide), the initiative supports Santé en français’s mission to improve access to quality French-language services and promote a more inclusive and respectful experience for the Francophone community.
